Your Guide

Hi, I’m Megan! Since moving to Scotland from California in 2015, I have completely immersed myself in Highland history and culture. I began exploring Scotland immediately and fell in love with the rich history. From climbing the mountains to finding the castles, I made it my mission to uncover every rough and rugged piece of the Highlands. From studying the dark and emotional history to learning Gaelic, I have been totally engrossed in all things Scottish.

Munro Bagging

‘Munro Bagging’ or climbing the 282 Munros (Scottish mountains that are over 3,000ft/914.4m) is one of the most popular pasttimes in Scotland.  More than 6,000 ‘compleatists’ or ‘Munroists’ have climbed them all. We wanted to offer visitors the chance to take on the challenge and experience the incredible feeling of accomplishment by bagging a Munro like a local.  From the sunny days with stunning views for miles to the ethereal misty mountain days, you will will never leave a day on the mountain without an extraordinary story.
